Tessian, the startup that provides next-generation security for emails to prevent inadvertent data breaches and loss, has raised $13M in Series A funding from investors that include Accel, Balderton Capital, LocalGlobe, Amadeus Capital Partners, Walking Ventures, Winton Ventures, and Crane Venture Partners. Founded by Edward Bishop, Thomas Adams, and Tim Sadler in 2013, Tessian, which was formerly known as CheckRecipient, has now raised a total of $16.8M in funding.
