OLIO, the app that allows surplus food from shops and cafes to be shared rather than thrown out, has raised $6M in Series A funding from investors that include Accel, Octopus Ventures, Quadia, Julien Codorniou, Quentin Griffiths, Jason Stockwood, Silvergate Investments 2, and Bran Investments. Founded by Saasha Celestial-One and Tessa Cook in 2015, OLIO has raised a total of $8.2M in investment over three funding rounds.
