Onfido is the AI, security company that’s software is used to scan official documents like drivers’ licenses and passports to confirm people’s identities. Onfido raised $50M in Series C funding, co-led by SoftBank, Augmentum Fintech, and Salesforce Ventures, with participation from investors that include Plug and Play, M12, and Fin Venture Capital. Onfido was founded in 2012 by Eamon Jubbawy, Husayn Kassai, Mike Forster, and Ruhul Amin, and it has now raised a total of $110.3M across eight rounds.
