Plain, a support platform for B2B companies, has raised $15M in Series A funding from investors that include Index Ventures, Battery Ventures, and Connect Ventures. Founded by Simon Rohrbach and Matt Vagni in 2020, Plain has now raised a total of $21M in reported equity funding.
Model ML – $12M Venture Round

Model ML, an AI platform for the financial services industry to automate workflows, has raised $12M in Venture funding led by Y Combinator and LocalGlobe. Founded by Arnie Englander and Chaz Englander in 2023, Model ML has now raised a total of $12.5M in reported equity funding.

HowNow, a skills and learning platform for businesses, has raised £3.5M in Series A funding from investors that include Fuel Ventures, Mercia Ventures, and Pearson. Founded by Kuvera Sivalingam and Nelson Sivalingam in 2016, HowNow has now raised a total of $13.7M in reported equity funding.
